Sugarbush Resort (Ellen & Lincoln)

Sugarbush Resort is a skiing and snowboarding resort located in Warren County, Vermont and is the perfect place for Champlain students to get outside in the winter. It is beginner, intermediate, and expert friendly, allowing students of all abilities to enjoy the slopes. Sugarbush is comprised of two mountains, Lincoln Peak and Mount Ellen. The parking lots of each mountain are a short 10 minute drive apart and there are also trails that connect the two for more advanced skiers and snowboarders. Champlain students have the unique opportunity of buying a discounted ski pass at Sugarbush to either both resort mountains or just Mount Ellen. The double-pass is $200 and the Mt Ellen pass is $75 for the entire season, but not including rentals or equipment. More information about these discounts can be found online or via posters hung up on campus with QR codes that lead to purchasing passes! Additionally, Champlain College offers a shuttle bus through the Student Activities Program one day each weekend from January until March for free transportation to Mt Ellen. You must sign up at the Hub Desk in the IDX Student Life Center in order to utilize the bus service. Another perk of the program is that it includes 3 free gear rentals if you do not have equipment! If you do not purchase a season pass through Champlain, day passes and rentals are available on the Sugarbush website.
