Located in South Burlington, Muddy Brook Park is the perfect place to enjoy a nice walk or run through a gorgeous wooded trail system. The network runs for 0.7 miles and the park is open between the hours of 5 am and 10 pm every day. While it is a small trail system, it is located along the Winooski River and is a great way to connect with nature and enjoy a leisurely outdoor activity. There is also a small picnic area for eating or relaxing. The trail system is located behind the Burlington International Airport and requires some driving on a dirt/gravel road to access the trailhead.
