The Burlington Greenway, which is commonly referred to as “the bike path”, is an 8 mile long trail which runs alongside the waterfront of Lake Champlain, located right in South Burlington. A short 5 minute walk or bike ride from the 194 Saint Paul St campus apartments is Perkins Pier, which intersects with the bike path and is a great place for students to who are coming from campus to begin their bike ride. From Perkins Pier you can travel left along the bike path to Oakledge Park where the trail will come to an end or you can travel right all the way to the North Beach Campground. The Burlington Greenway is relatively flat and is paved to ensure that any type of bike can be used on the trail. Since this is a very busy path, it is important to be mindful of walkers and runners while biking in this area.
