Burlington Greenway Walk/Bike Path

The Burlington Greenway, often referred to as “The Bike Path” is located on the Lake Champlain shoreline in South Burlington, Vermont. It is the perfect place to get outside to walk or run, spanning a total of 8 miles. It begins at Oakledge Park and goes all the way to the Winooski River. It is a paved trial that is perfect for any level of experience running/walking. From main campus you can travel there by walking, driving, or taking the shuttle down Maple Street until you reach Perkins Pier. From there, you have the option to travel to Oakledge Park (right) or to the Waterfront Park (left) along the Greenway. This trail can be enjoyed for as long or short as you’d like, making it a wonderful place to spend time outdoors right near campus.

Ways to Get There: 10-15 minute walk, 5 minute drive, 5 minute bike ride, take the Champlain shuttle bus from main campus to 194 then a 5 minute walk
