Bolton Valley Resort is a ski and snowboarding area that is located in Richmond, Vermont and provides a fun way for students to go to a mountain without having to drive very far. Bolton Valley is notorious for its $25 night skiing passes and are utilized by many Champlain students that are looking to get out on weeknights for cheap! Night skiing is open at Bolton between the hours of 4 and 10 pm. If you need gear, full rentals are available for only $60 for day passes and $45 for night passes. Like the other mountains in the area, seasonal and day passes are also available for purchase on their website. Boltons trails offer a variety of terrain for people looking to participate in downhill, Nordic, backcountry, and uphill skiing and snowboarding. There are 5 operational chair lifts and over 70 trails to enjoy that range from beginner to advanced to ensure skiers and riders of all levels will have a blast! Due to its convenient location and close proximity to Champlain, it can also be a great mountain to learn how to ski or snowboard at. Private and group lessons are available on their website.
